Ricotta Breakfast Bread (Pane e Ricotta) is one of the simplest breakfasts you’ll find in a Sicilian kitchen — warm bread, cool ricotta, and just a touch of sweetness. It’s the kind of morning bite that feels effortless and comforting.

Notes
- Sicilian Country Bread is the traditional bread used for Ricotta Breakfast Bread.
- Fresh whole‑milk ricotta gives the best flavor and texture.
- For a savory version, omit sugar and add olive oil and a pinch of salt.
- For a sweet version, use sugar or honey and add fruit.
- This dish is meant to be simple — Sicilian breakfasts are rustic and minimal.
